Absolutly no motor oil, transmission fluid, hydraulic fluid, or any other oil substances accepted  at any time.

You may obtain a Transfer Station sticker at your Town Clerk to which you pay your property taxes.

Transfer Station Stickers

New Stickers are Being Issued by Your Town Clerks starting August 21, 2023. Anyone without a new sticker as of Nov 1 will not be allowed to use our facility.

Town of Harpersfield Land Tax Payers

Land Tax Paying Residents of the Town of Stamford, Town of Kortright, Village of Stamford and Village of Hobart

Please see your Town (not Village) Clerk for your stickers to the Transfer Station.

Long Term Renters

Please contact your landlord or land tax payer. Additional questions, please contact the Town Clerk.

A sticker will be provided by your Town Clerk. It is to be displayed on the drivers side window of the vehicle that goes to the Transfer Station. 

Paint Care

The Transfer Station will be taking up to 5 gallons of paint per household per day starting Jan 21, 2025.

Please see link on what paint is accepted.

All paint must be provided to a Transfer Station Attendant to be accepted. Do not leave any paint near the shed. We have surveillance cameras and will be using them to confirm everyone complies to the guidelines outlined for a successful process. 

All paint and cans are recycled.
